About
Dr. Laurie Cuva grew up in a family that emphasized the importance of hard work and education. She is the daughter of a retired Air Force veteran and an elementary school teacher. Dr. Cuva soon met and married her husband and they, along with their three children, live in Tampa. Dr. Cuva has enjoyed helping patients in the Tampa Bay area since 1995.

Clinical rotations included Bay Pines VA and surgical/specialty care at Emory hospital in Atlanta. Dr. Pierce specializes in scleral contact lens fittings and myopia control for children. She's an avid hockey fan and enjoys attending Tampa bay Lightning games in her free time.
